We are currently accepting a limited number of new cases at this time!
We apologize for this to all of our potential clients. We are currently experimenting with new ways to assist clients using methods that go against the popular ways of doing things. These new research methods mean we need to focus on limited caseloads for a prolonged period of time. To be thorough, we are focusing on small amounts of cases at a time and look to expand in the spring of 2013 to widen our caseload ability.
Do You Want To Be A Paranormal Investigator?
We are currently looking to add to our team of investigators and researchers. We are looking for self-starters and leaders with diverse backgrounds and approaches. We are not a ghost hunting club, but one who assists with client-centered cases using specific techniques that differ from television and most groups. Please refer to the E4 Method site for details on our methods. If you are interested, please inquire at our membership link and please read through the page and then contact us if you feel you will qualify. Thank you and we look forward to meeting you!
The "E4" Method Debuts at Ghost Excavation Convention
The First Forensic Ghost Excavation Congress Convention took place June 22-24, 2012, in Brunswick, Maryland hosted by John Sabol and Mary Becker of C.A.S.P.E.R. Brian discussed the E4 Method as a new direction to conducting client-centered cases to a crowd made of various backgrounds and experience. His method went over well even with the tougher part of the crowd and he will be expanding the concept and publishing work very soon. The "E4" Method will also be discussed during the VA Paraquest on April 27, 2013, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Click on the image to find more information about this blended approach.
A new book has also been released! "The 'E4' Method: Breaking the Mold of Paranormal Investigation" is now available from online book company Lulu. The book is a short primer aimed toward those who want to know more about this process.
Ohio Groups List- Updated April 23, 2013
Is this possible? Yes! After many months of research and investigation into groups in Ohio I have established a list of currently active groups who investigate client-centered cases in the state of Ohio. Why would I do this? I feel it's important that we all know our neighbors. It's important that we take the time to get to know one another beyond exchanging links. This field is dotted with hundreds of groups that are all finding their own way, why? There is so much knowledge and information that makes up each group (despite what many think this is not a new fad and television shows are leading groups in the wrong direction!) and to not share or pass it on is why many new groups make the same mistakes as others have. Let's break the cycle and start to work together at any level. Hopefully this list will also assist the client in finding a group near them as well.
"Handbook For the Amateur Paranormal Investigator or Ghost Hunter: How to Become a Successful Paranormal Group", was released in May of 2008. This book was a lot of work, but I feel it's all worth it (thanks to my wife, Amy, for the editing help!). I'm very proud of this release as I feel it tells it like it is and is not about saying the right things to gain points in this field. If you're a new paranormal investigator or want to have a successful, long running team, I suggest you order this book. This book is also available as an e-book at the iTunes bookstore.
My second book is also available and is a companion book to the first. "Betty's Ghost: A Guide to Paranormal Investigation", picks up on the investigation aspect where the first one left off. Betty's Ghost follows a fictitious case, based upon events I have investigated, from the initial contact to the case follow-up. It's an over-the-shoulder look at how I investigate cases and is based upon a tool I created for my investigators.
"Handbook For the Amateur Paranormal Investigator II: The Art and Science of Paranormal Investigation" is a new book released on July 8, 2010. This book is geared toward those who know the basics beyond what is portrayed on television and the internet and this next chapter takes a step forward into the world of client centered paranormal investigations. Learn the art of the interview including basic body language that can help in interviews as well as everyday situations. Learn advanced interview techniques that are simple to use that will help your client remember the most detail and provide you with an accurate picture of your upcoming investigation of the location. Evidence review, and other topics that are rarely mentioned with investigations, are discussed tool by tool. Learn the reality behind the tools and methods used in the field of paranormal investigation that goes against the popular ways of doing things. This book is also available as an e-book at the iTunes bookstore.
In Handbook for the Amateur Paranormal Investigator: Part II - The Art and Science of Paranormal Investigation, Brian Parsons establishes a refreshingly grounded approach to conducting paranormal investigations including many uncommon and valuable tips that can only come from someone with many years of experience in the field. Any paranormal investigator who reads this book will undoubtedly take away a wealth of knowledge that will enhance and complement their investigations and research. I highly recommend Brian's book to both new and seasoned paranormal investigators alike. Excellent!

"The "E4" Method: Breaking the Mold of Paranormal Investigation" is a book covering the new methodology of investigation designed by Brian Parsons. The "E4" Method is a blend of traditional and non-traditional approaches toward client-centered paranormal investigation from Parapsychology, interviewing specialists, as well as the "Ghost Excavation" methodology created by John G Sabol, Jr. and is balanced by advice from professional skeptics. This blend of old and new methodology is intended to provide structure for groups who desire a new direction away from the limited concepts displayed in current ghost investigation culture.
